The Homewood-Flossmoor Community Band, under the direction of Rob Calhoon, has been delighting the community with the sounds of summer for nearly 60 years. This ensemble of 90 amateur musicians comes together during the summer months to rehearse and present enjoyable concerts. The Sounds of Illinois Brass Choir, led by Rob Calhoon, welcomes community members with experience playing traditional brass instruments. The repertoire includes music from the Renaissance to contemporary compositions, and this ensemble, like all our programs, is tuition-free. Registration will open soon.
